How my vibration transformed my love life!

Hello and welcome! My name is Marcie Link and In 1993 I made a last minute decision to move to Hilton Head, SC from New Hampshire - to meet up with an old friend. When I arrived on the island, my friend found me a job working on a golf course as a photographer. I had little to no golf experience so I began lessons in between my shifts. This is where I met the course’s golf professional and my future best friend Kevin. It only took 6 months to fall head over heels into marriage.

This entire experience was so profound I can’t even explain it. It all sourced from listening to Carolina in My Mind by James Taylor months before my friend called, after that the universe did the rest.

However, marriage was not all that it seemed, and just as others, we began to fall into a dark hole. We had tried couples therapy, counseling, and everything else you could think of. Over the years we have learned that two people do not fall out of love, instead their magnetic vibration often lowers once the honey moon face is over! After we began to raise our vibration and understand each other’s love language we were able to navigate through the ups and downs of our relationship and create joy like never before. We always find time for small trips, intimate dinner dates, and chances to surprise each other. My husband and I have now been best friends for over 28 years!

How vibrational frequency works

We are all a part of an invisible field of energy that makes up our everyday lives. This energy field around us can be best described using quantum physics. This is how matter and its particles interact with each other and the energy field that we are a part of.  

To better understand and put this into context, think of a time when you were feeling shame, guilt, fear, or anger. Your body was releasing cortisol or epinephrine into your blood which creates a different lower energetic vibration that feels heavier. Your heart was filled with pure love because your body was physically releasing different chemical energies of dopamine and oxytocin into your blood. 5 Ways to Raise Your Vibrational Frequency  

Eating a Whole Food Diet 

Did you know that all food holds energy? Yes, that is correct, and the food that you eat daily can either raise or lower your vibration. Items such as vegetables, fruits, and nuts have a higher frequency when compared to processed meat, snacks, and fast food. In today's world, most of our whole foods are sprayed with toxic chemicals and our animals are injected with antibiotics.

Becoming more conscious of organic and non-GMO food at the grocery store will balance your energy but also your immune system and mood. It is also important to watch out for the ingredients added to your snacks and meals, such as canola oil and corn syrup as they can be toxic to your immune system.

Foods with a lower frequency will leave you feeling tired, stressed, anxious, and even irritable. Space Clearing in Your Home or Office

If you’ve ever cleaned out a junk drawer you know that organizing can positively affect your mood and mental health. Your home is one of the only places to fully relax and unwind, so it would be hard to do so with clutter and junk everywhere.

Even your office space should be organized and clutter-free for more productivity and peace. Minimizing the space, we live in is also a great way to raise our vibrational frequency. Sometimes too many “things” can weigh us down and leave us feeling overwhelmed. It is often found that we are most happy with fewer things in our life, so clean out that closet and donate anything that is not being used.  

Implementing spiritual practices into your routine 

Using spiritual practices is a great way to increase your vibrational frequency and guide you through your energetic journey as you grow and learn. Here are just a few I use and recommend; 

  • Crystals and Gemstones 

If you’ve been online in the past 5 years chances are you’ve heard of crystals. Where do crystals come from and what makes them so powerful? Below the earth’s surface magma crystallizes into igneous rocks causing ions to grow and create mineral crystals.

Each crystal reaches a different shape, property, and energy. There are various crystals you can buy or find, each with specific characteristics. Whether you are looking to attract love, courage, strength, or kindness there are crystals for many of your needs. Crystals are great for raising your vibrational frequency, just slowly move them around your head and upper body while focusing on your intentions. This technique will cleanse the energy field around your crown and third-eye chakras. You will see the best results from meditating with each crystal and focusing on its properties. However, they can even cleanse your area by sitting them around your home or office. When holding crystals and gemstones you can absorb their energy, increase your joy and improve your state of well-being.

  • Affirmations 

Finding and reciting affirmations based on your intentions is just one of the powerful ways to attract what it is that you desire. Finding affirmations that align with your true self is very important, this can be done through muscle testing or the use of a pendulum. Simply repeat the affirmation and your body will either experience a weak or strong response to the phrase, this being “yes or no.” Once you find affirmations that align with your true self repeat them daily when you wake up, before bed, and even write them on notes around your house!  

SAGING and aromatherapy

Light a small part of a smudge stick and wave it through your chosen area, keep in mind your intentions for cleansing the space. Treat this practice as a ritual. Burning sage can raise the vibration of your home, office, or car for a more productive and calm space. Palo Santos is a beautiful option too and another favorite I use. Essential oils are another way to improve your mood and calm your nerves through aromatherapy. Each scent will allow you to escape into relaxation, which is perfect for spiritual healing. For a smokeless option, essential oil sage spray is a perfect alternative.  

Vision Board

Creating a vision board is a great way to set your intentions and goals for your life. Whether you have a 1-year plan, a 3-year plan, or you don’t even know where to begin, a vision board is sure to bring you clarity, ignite your creativity, and increase your motivation. Using old magazines, photos, or books you can cut out images, words, and phrases that inspire you. Putting all of your ideas on a poster or in a picture frame will allow the universe to deliver your desires effectively. Invite some friends over to create their vision board as well and you can raise your vibrational frequency together!  *Friendly Tip* You can even make your vision board digitally and put it as your desktop wallpaper! (I have one in my room and one on my computer.)

  • Journaling 

Using a journal to write out your thoughts and how you feel each day will reduce your anxiety and stress throughout the week. Writing at least 5 things you are grateful for each morning and night is sure to raise your vibrational energy. Dream journaling is significantly powerful to help uncover any subconscious issues that need to be addressed.  Journaling has been scientifically proven to improve your physical health, sleep, and relationships! 

Getting the Right Sleep For Your Body Type 

Making sure that we get plenty of sleep each night is very important to our energy and mood. Not only can we use this time for subconscious meditation but we can also give our body a chance to fight off any bacteria and disease that could cause us harm.

Making sure our body is at rest between 11 pm-2 am is vital to receiving the full benefits of R.E.M. Every person will benefit from a different amount of sleep and you can find this out by taking a simple sleep assessment online. Overall, getting at least 7-8 hours of restful sleep each night to receive all-day energy while keeping your vibration up.

Chakra cards are a great way to connect to your intuition and find clarity on your life path. They offer guidance and direction by delivering a specific message for you.
